REALISTIC BEE EMBROIDERY TUTORIAL Step by Step - Bumble Bee Embroidery - 3d Bee Embroidery Tutorial

I am so excited to share this! I have been wanting to create this embroidered bee for a while now! I am so happy the way this project turned! This was actually my first time embroidering the bee - and I was did not watch any tutorials before doing it - so I kind of went with it! If you have been wanting to embroider a bee or any other insect - it is actually not that difficult and so rewarding! I would suggest first deciding what style of bee you would like to embroider: a cartoonish style or realistic. I went for a realistic one and I that helped me make proper decisions while embroidering! For this embroidery project you would need: -Embroidery hoops -Heavy weight organza (but you can use any fabric - I decided to go for a sheer embroidery look so I picked organza) -Tulle (this is optional and I decided to you use it because my organza was white and I wanted to mute it down for the bee to pop!) -Threads (black) - Needles -Yellow velvet (for the belly of the bee) -Black beads -Toy stuffing or cotton ball Things that I have learned: - It is better to use polyester velvet instead of silk velvet - because silk velvet frays! Next time I will be using polyester so I can melt the edges to and not deal with fraying. - Look at realistic bee instead of cartoon one - Just do it! If you had something in mind you have been wanting to try but were hesitant to because you have never done - do it! - Embroidering on sheer fabric is so awesome and turns out so modern. I will be def doing more. I hope you guys will enjoy this video and I hope this bee embroidery tutorial will help you to make something cool! I think the next challenge for me would be to come up with a realistic butterfly wing - I am already thinking how in the world I could recreate it. Oh! My inspiration came from Alexadner McQueen beetle embroidery - in the collect of 2017-2018. They had WHOLE TWO dress embroidered in all kind of bugs, beetles, bees and insects. And not only they had TWO full dressed done like that by hand - they also embroider boots. Just to give you an idea - this bee took me 6 hours to make! You can imagine how long did 2 dress and two pairs of boots took! So unbelievable. I hope I inspired you to create something! l love the way this 3d bee embroidery turned out! Have a lovely day! Kisses and hugs, Eugenia NEW BLOOMING MOON
