Redrum 8 is the palindrome wording of the drug “Fentanyl“, a drug popularly used to relief pain and cause euphoria. Keeping that in mind, I tried to assimilate fully the feeling of being in a state of trance with a captivating & memorable main theme and a heavy techno bassline, not having conscious control of your dancing body to the beat. The track was heavily inspired by Jesper Kyd’s work for the Hitman:Blood Money - Mission “A Dance with the Devil“ and it’s main theme “Slasher“ which was made by the band “Institute for the Criminally Insane“.
