Mysterious and Unknown Sanxingdui culture Second Part. Dates 1700 BC. – 1150 BC. A Unique little known ancient civilization of China, Bronze Age. Was accidentally discovered in 1927 AD. The First part here Sanxingdui (Chinese: 三星堆; pinyin: Sānxīngduī; lit. ’Three Star Mound’) is an archaeological site and a major Bronze Age culture in modern Guanghan, Sichuan, China. Largely discovered in 1986, following a preliminary finding in 1927, archaeologists excavated artifacts that radiocarbon dating placed in the 12th–11th centuries BC (of some of them) .
