Sony Hi8 Handycam CCD-TRV138 Camcorder (circa 2005)

This is my old Sony Hi8 Handycam camcorder which I received as a 16th birthday gift (to videotape my brother’s wedding) in the summer of 2005, although it now has tape drive issues. This model has a chronic gear drive problem which Sony and other repair facilities will no longer fix (when they would, I received one appraisal of $800- JUST TO FIX THIS PROBLEM), therefore it will no longer playback or record on the Hi8 format tapes, and hasn’t since 2007. So sadly it sits out of warranty on my shelf with the Super 8 cameras, 110s, and Polaroid’s. :( But I still love it! - LOL!
