Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of the US Congress on Wednesday, amid widespread protests in Washington. As Netanyahu entered the chamber to address Congress, he was welcomed with a standing ovation from US lawmakers. Netanyahu thanked the US for its support for Israel and laid out his vision for a post-war Gaza, amid growing pressure on his government to wind down and end the war.
