Romania, British & U.S. Soldiers Arrive in NATO Battlegroup Poland The 2nd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment of American soldiers arrived in Orzysz, Poland. In support of NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence, Battle Group Poland, made up of 2/2 CR, U.K., and Romanian soldiers, is now stationed in Orzysz, Poland, for six months (eFP). The eFP of NATO is an alliance, forward-deployed defensive and deterrent posture in Eastern Europe designed to defend and reassure the security of NATO’s Eastern member states.
