Animals Being Jerks

This dark brown, orange, black and white coloured butterfly is medium large and is of the type Charaxes jasius. Males wingspan reaching 65-75 and females 73-90 mm Butterflies are graceful and fascinating creatures and bring colour to the garden. In general they are happy with the sweet nectar in flowers, but some like the sap of a tree or an overripe apples or bananas, sliced oranges or animal manure. This one that I met was very happy with my can of beer as you can see. Hope he didn’t drink too much, but on the other hand they never fly away in a straight line….
