Exercise Index Combination Front & Lateral Raise (deltoids)
Exercise Index for performing a combination front and side lateral raises.
This exercise targets all three heads of the deltoid muscle.
To start, grab a pair of dumbbells and stand with your feet shoulder width apart. I recommend you begin with the front raise and then move your arms to the sides to perform lateral part of the movement. From here you can reverse the movement and perform additional repetitions.
Note, this movement is very demanding on the deltoids, and you do not have to go heavy at all. For the best result I recommend that you focus on performing the movement slowly and rather do a higher number of repetitions.
