Svyatoslav “Mif“ Opritov, an old friend of mine, happened to come to Moscow for a week with his wife and fortunately we had time to meet to make some soundscaping. Like the most of my previous soundscapes this record is a pure improvisation. Svyatoslav played my Godin and GR-33. Consequently in most cases pushing a button meant for him an exploration of terra incognita since he didn’t know what kind of preset was going to come next). I hope it gave spice to his playing and made us a little bit more disciplined. So what is coming soon? There are going to come two 15 minutes long sound textures. We used the following equipment: Godin ACS Multiac Nylon with midi access, Godin Solidac with Roland GK-2A, Roland VG-88 and GR-33, two Boss RC-50 loopers, two steel guitar slides, a Sony notebook, Omega Lexicon soundcard and two Behringer monitors.
