Sometime before 2003 under United Nation’s “OIL-FOR-FOOD“ program Ural Factory manufactured five hundred 2WD Urals that were based on the Gear Up Model. These go-anywhere bikes were shipped to Iraq and were supposed to be used by Postal Service and Ministry of Agriculture. Due to the start of the war in 2003 they were never put to use.
