Ukrainian mother and son reunite after six months of Russian occupation: ’I’ve been waiting’
Vyacheslav Zadorenko released this footage which purports to show the mayor reuniting with his mother in a village liberated from Russian occupation in the Kharkiv region.

Zadorenko had stated he needed to see his family after Russian forces retreated and so returned to the village of Kozacha. The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskiy has stated that 8,000 sq km has been liberated by Ukrainian troops so far in the north-eastern region of Kharkiv in a counteroffensive that launched in early September.
