For those that don’t do Wado Ryu karate, and even for those that do, Gyakuzuki No Tsukkomi is a strange beast. What is it’s purpose?
My view is that through repetition it brings additional benefits beyond just being a punch. Getting beasted up and down the dojo doing it gives some core and strength training.
