Evig Natt - “Når Lyset Svikte” Music Video

Track taken form the band’s upcoming album Vaketimen. The track ”Når Lyset Svikte” translates to “When the light fails”. It’s about giving up, when your tired of keeping yourself afloat, and you give in and sink into the darkness. The song is performed in our Norwegian dialect, which is specific to the island of Karmøy, where Evig Natt originates from. Kirsten always feels closest and more connected to her Norwegian lyrics, as they tend to be a lot more direct and personal. EVIG NATT’s music is aggressive but subtle, noisy yet beautiful, a maelstrom of symphonic darkness that could only be described as Orchestral Gothic Doom Metal. From the unholy metal grounds of Karmøy, west Norway, this band follows in the footsteps of Einherjer and Enslaved, featuring ex-band members of both.
