Weapons in Warhammer: Vermintide - How Realistic Are They?

Swaggering Landsknecht mercenaries, epically bearded dwarfs, stern witch hunters, and hordes of heavily armed Skaven to obliterate... These games are obviously lots of fun if you’re into the multiplayer horde survival genre. What about the weapon designs? Do they contribute to immersion by looking like they could actually be used without magic / superpowers / plot armor, or are they completely nuts? Well, it’s a mixed bag... Some are clearly inspired by history and would be perfectly practical in the real world, while others look more like clunky LARP monstrosities.
