Eid al-Adha: Muslim Faithful in Jerusalem’s Old City Mark Eid

Muslim worshippers prayed in the Al Aqsa compound in Jerusalem’s Old City on Friday to mark the Eid al-Adha holiday. Eid al-Adha, or “Feast of the Sacrifice,“ commemorates the Quranic tradition of the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.
