ATMAX Equipment Co. was started in 2001 by Tim Ward in order to build a truly All Terrain forklift. In 1999, Tim purchased two Moffett® truck mounted forklifts for his familys sod farm in central Florida. He quickly realized that these three wheeled machines would not easily handle the sugar sand found on most Florida construction sites.
