HYDE is arguably Japan’s most prolific rock star, and doesn’t disappoint with this majestic ballad, “ZIPANG“. A powerfully poetic illustration of HYDE’s homeland, “ZIPANG“ chronicles a story of time, change, and strength. HYDE’s hauntingly beautiful voice delivers both angelic melodies and the raw aggression HYDE is known for. Further complimented by the piano accompaniment of none other than YOSHIKI from the famous band X Japan, ZIPANG is an emotional and dominating song with a message. The music video was filmed in a special overnight shoot at Toji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Kyoto, Japan.
