Vladimir Putin takes North Korean leader Kim for a drive in Russian luxury car

The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, took the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, for a ride in an Aurus, a Russian-made luxury limousine. Subscribe to Guardian News on YouTube ► Footage released by Russian state TV showed the two leaders driving around what appeared to be a park in Pyongyang before they switched places and Kim took the driver’s seat. Putin was on his first visit to North Korea in 24 years, where he is believed to be seeking weapons for his country’s war effort in Ukraine. Ties between the countries have warmed in recent months, with Pyongyang and Moscow signing a mutual defence pact amid deteriorating relations with the west.
