The Riot Games Super Art Power Hour | Episode 3: Character Art

This episode of the Power Hour looks at the process of creating in-game 3D character assets typical of a top-down-view MOBA like League. In this hypothetical (and experimental) exercise, Intern-turned-Rioter and character artist extraordinaire Annie Kwon (of League’s PIE/skins team) picks up where we left off in Episode 1…by fleshing out Thomas Randby’s glorious Big-Top Caitlyn concept art, and bringing her into full 3D space, using the standard processes, toolsets, and gameplay-based considerations that Riot artists leverage every day. Check out more of Annie’s work at The Riot Games Super Art Power Hour is an ongoing, long-form educational segment spotlighting super art and super artists at Riot.
