Speaking club for teachers B2+/C1

Bravo to me! The first session after a looong time, and I absolutely nailed it! Frankly speaking, I was really jittery about tge whole thing, giving that I haven’t been working with high levels for 4 months. But it turned out that I’m actually in a good shape! I spent quite a time to come up with a topic for the first session. My souls was literally begging me to pick something psychological-like. But I thought it would be, Idk, too much for a trial session 😂 So I decided let it be “adulthood”. The session started with a little icebreaker- participants had to make 3 statements about themselves (2 true and 1 false). Their partner had to guess which is which and why. This activity helped to create a safe and friendly environment, where colleagues had a change to get to know each other better. Then, of course, time for speaking. I prepared 6 questions to talk about what it’s like to be an adult. A tiny spoiler- it turns out that there aren’t many joys of being one 😂 Finally, my favorite part- a vocabulary booster. 10 collocations and idioms that we work with the whole part, till the end.
