Leicester Square: Ex-Cop visibly emotional in passionate rant URGING for knife crime crackdown

’We can stop these hundreds of killings! We can stop the parents planning funerals! I’ve been shouting from the mountains.’ Retired police officer, Norman Brennan, appears visibly emotional questioning ’why no one is listening’ to his calls for a serious knife crime crackdown. This comes after a girl, aged 11, was taken to hospital with stabbing injuries from Leicester Square. She is seriously injured and will require further treatment, but her condition is thankfully not life threatening. Her mother, aged 34, also suffered minor injuries. A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene. Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the attack, and the there is understood to be no connection to terrorism.
