Honda Is Well-Positioned to Compete With Global EV Rivals: CEO

-- Honda Motor Co. became the first Japanese automaker to publicly say it will go all electric by 2040 although it has a long history with engines. To better position for the electric age, it reached an agreement with General Motors Co. last year to jointly develop two new Honda EVs. New President and Chief Executive Officer Toshihiro Mibe told Bloomberg how Honda has positioned itself among its Chinese rivals and Tesla Inc. in the electric-vehicle market, and explained how the company would achieve its carbon neutral target.
