How We Feed Sheep (NEW RATIONS FOR 2020) After a summer of growing and harvesting crops for our sheep feed, we finally have everything analyzed and new rations have been made for this coming year. This video goes through the process and thought behind how and why we feed what we do. Every year our feed looks different, and so too does the rations. This year we are back to using haylage, corn silage and some dry hay as the base and a few add-ins that I needed some clarification from our nutritionist. #sheep #feed #hay #cornsilage There’s still one thing I’d really like to see happen here to make harvest a bit less stressful (maybe?) and that’s potentially switching to a bunk silo for the feed.
