Mama: ’13 horror film latches on and won’t let go #andymuschietti

Mama is supernatural horror film released in 2013. It is directed and co-written by Andy Muschietti in his directorial debut. This film is actually based on his 2008 Argentine short film “Mamá“. The movie stars Jessica Chastain (Annabel) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Lucas). Lucas has been searching for his Nieces after their father (his twin brother) commited a murder suicide and the girls went missing. They lived feral in a cabin in the woods seemingly alone... But the girls are heard mentioning Mama and talking to the walls of the house. It is such a fun horror film with some very creepy scenes. And as someone who loves creature/character actors, I have to mention that the wonderful actor, Javier Botet, plays the role of the entity: Mama. Thank you for watching!
