Japanese Literature Before Sleeping | “Amenimo Makezu“ (Unbeaten by the Rain) Kenji Miyazawa
Can’t sleep? I’ll read a poem for you. Enjoy the sound of Japanese literature.
“Amenimo Makezu” (Unbeaten by the Rain) was written in 1931 by Kanji Miyazawa, a poet from Iwate in Japan.
I remember learning this poem at elementary or junior high school and reading it over and over again until I memorized it.
Let me know if you would like to listen to longer ones.
