The battery system is built on a modular principle with quick disconnect connections, which allows you to quickly remove the battery and control modules for diagnostics or service. The maintenance of the ship’s electric propulsion system is much less frequent compared to diesel-powered ships. The connection of the switchgear to the city power grid for charging the ship’s batteries was organized by the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The catamaran will be charged with a small electric current at night at berth No. 5 of the Nizhny Novgorod River Terminal.
