From the album “The Magic Scarab“ by Thaneco & Romerium. Early in May Romerium had this idea of composing an album inspired by an old c64 (commodore) video game called “Scarabaeus“. So he asked me if I want to collaborate with him and I immediately agreed since I love video games and their music and sound effects. During the 80s, when I was young, I was one of the few privileged children to have an Amstrad 6128 computer (with green monitor) and would spend hours playing games with my friends. The story of the game is the following: “All people on this planet are doomed to die by the pharaoh’s curse. The only way to break the curse and survive is if they come into possession of the magical scarab that must be found in the only pyramid on planet Octoberon069.
