Jakub Józef Orliński – “Fiat pax“ from Zelenka: Laetatus sum, ZWV 90

Jakub Józef Orliński expands the tapestry of his debut album with Anima Aeterna (“eternal soul“), a multi-faceted program of sacred arias and motets of the Baroque era. Discover here: As the countertenor explains, “This album is not so much about the religious side of the works on the program as about the emotions they contain and the different instruments and voices they present.“ The program, a kind of dialogue with his debut album Anima Sacra, has once again been crafted with musician and musicologist Yannis François and recorded with Il Pomo d’Oro, conducted by Francesco Corti. It also features soprano Fatma Said as a guest in Jan Dismas Zelenka’s Laetatus sum, ZWV 90, a motet written for soprano, alto, and orchestra. __________ Video Art: Honorata Karapuda Choreography & Performance: Kornelia Maria Tamara Lech Photography & Editing: Maciej Głowiński / GŁOWA MÓWI Floral Art: Piotr Se
