Surgical Treatment of Peri-implantitis with Photodynamic Therapy and Guided Bone Regeneration

Peri-implantitis is diagnosed around implants in the area of 31-41 and also 13. The sites are surgically exposed, granulation tissue removed and implant surface decontaminated. A mild form of implantoplasty is also conducted with a mechanical rotating titanium brush.
