Lords of Atlantis: “Leading Edge“ - Dedicated to the Astronauts

Lords of Atlantis are proud to present our third track, “Leading Edge“ - dedicated to the legendary ’60s band the Astronauts whose influence on the modern surf music scene continues to be massive. They developed a highly distinctive and original sound that has been often copied but never equaled, recording some of most classic and beloved surf instrumentals (and vocals) ever. Unfortunately, about a month ago, only two days apart, the world lost their lead guitarist Rich Fifield and drummer Jim Gallagher. In light of that we wanted to show our respect and appreciation for this amazing band. Lords of Atlantis are Jeremy DeHart (The Manakooras, the A-Men, Aqualads. The Blair Pongracic Band) on rhythm guitar (or two, in the case of this track!) and bass , Dane Carter (The Madeira, the Troubadours, The Blair Pongracic Band) on drums, and Ivan Pongracic (The Madeira, The Space Cossacks, the Blair Pongracic Band) on lead guitar.
