Making a Handmade FUJARA FLUTE ~The Complete Process ~ The Birth Of A Flute / Part 3

This short documentary shows the complete process of making a handmade Fujara flute! We filmed the whole process of making this musical instrument from being a trunk in the forest to a finished Fujara Flute and then finally the music ! ℗©Winne Clement This footage was shot in 2014, but we only finished this edit today, 10 years later! The series ’The Birth Of A Flute, making a Kaval’ was shot in the same weeks as a side project. Our main focus was on filming this documentary about fujara flute making but we never found the time to finish it, until now! So I guess we can call it The Birth Of A Flute Part 3 ~Fujara ! The fujara is a large traditional overtone flute from the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia originally. After 20 years of learning experience, starting with the tradition and then years of research and experiment, I have developped my own contemporary playing style and personal version of this great instrument!
