Javier Milei excitedly leaps into Donald Trump’s arms during first in-person meeting

Argentina President Javier Milei could not contain his excitement after meeting his “MAGA“ idol former US president Donald Trump for the first time. The two world leaders exchanged greetings at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland on Saturday. Trump playfully modified his famous MAGA slogan to “Make Argentina great again“ as he shook hands with Milei. Milei, a Libertarian leader, responded with his own campaign slogan, “Viva la libertad, carajo!“ (Long live freedom, damn it!). The interaction highlighted the camaraderie between the two as the South American leader thanked Trump for supporting his presidency. “It’s a great honour for me,“ the beaming South American leader told Trump. “I am very happy. You are very generous to me. Thank you very much.“
