Making a Walnut Keepsake Box

See how I made this Walnut Keepsake Box to hold a shoulder plane I bought for my Dad’s 70th birthday. I’ll show how I made the box from start to finish including planing, cutting the material to length and adding rebates to hold the base. You can learn how to glue up a box, stick on the lid and then use a flush cut router bit to trim it to size. I also cover how to apply osmo to the walnut box in detail and a few finishing shots of the completed box. I hope you enjoy the video and let me know in the comments if you like the box.
