Kapustin is both an exceptional composer and performer. He was classically trained at the Moscow Conservatory, before branching out into jazz. His compositions are funky, playful, and yet technical. You’ll hear both classical and jazz elements in this terrific little piece, his Concert Etude Op 40 No 3 (Toccatina). It was used as the intro musi
