In this video i show to you how to restore a rusted antique kitchen scale, the brand of this little tool is Bender, unfortunately i couldin’t find informations about this brand. This little scale have 50 Years old and was used to mesure foods but not with precision. I started disassemble with a iron saw just to unlock the screw, i didin’t have ani tool that fits that place where the screw was. After that i use my plier to open the locks on the base but as you can see i had to drill a hole to remove the weld that hold the dish. I also make a hole to remove the mechanism. Now i could remove the iron case that protects the mechanism. After the case and the base removed i begin disassembly the rusted mechanism, which was very rusted.
