Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley and Councillor Joe Keithley celebrate the strength and solidarity that comes from Burnaby’s diversity in a new song, ‘You Won’t Stand Alone.’ Keithley sings lead vocals on the track, while Mayor Hurley accompanies him on bass and backup vocals. The video features footage shot at Deer Lake and Burnaby Lake parks, and Burnaby City Hall. “You Won’t Stand Alone” follows on the heels of “We’re All in This Together,” a COVID-19 rock anthem also written by Keithley. In April, the video of “We’re All in This Together” featuring Keithley and Hurley again performing together received more than 30,000 views online.
