Blame Game Follows Kherson Dam Explosions | Russia’s Plan to Halt Counteroffensive Or Ukraine’s...?

An explosion at the Nova Kakhovka dam in the Russia-held part of the Kherson region has reportedly breached the critical infrastructure. The wall of the dam collapsed, gushing water through the Dnipro river, that separates the areas held by the Russian and Ukrainian forces. The Russian-installed head of the city administration told Russian medias that the city of Nova Kakhovka is “flooded”. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said nearly 1,300 people have been evacuated after 24 settlements were flooded in Kherson Oblast. Meanwhile, both Russia and Ukraine have blamed the other for destroying the dam which contains a huge reservoir.
