Today I’m going to show you how to make a hoop skirt in three different sizes that will cover all your mid-Victorian needs: 1) narrow crinoline is more suitable for day wear, that’s good in confined areas, where you don’t have a lot of space and if you want to try wearing hoop skirts for the first time 2) regular hoop skirt that could be used for a day dress but also for more formal Victorian attire, like a ball gown 3) large crinoline for when you just want to go a bit extra. I would only use it for a ball gown or evening dress. ______________ my shop with historical patterns: my instagram: ______________ Chapters: 00:00 Intro 00:19 Choosing hoop skirt size 01:31 Cutting the parts 04:36 Sewing the parts together 07:28 Making boning channels 11:20 Adding the waistband 14:37 Inserting the hoop steel 17:04 Making the bum pad 18:03 Finished results _____________ Music: Childhood by Scott Buckley Elementary by Scott Buckley White Petals by Keys of Moon Sunset Landscape by Keys of Moon Awakening Dew by Keys of Moon Frozen Mountains by Alexander Nakarada Emotional Piano Improvisation by Alexander Nakarada () Licensed under Creative Commons BY Attribution 4.0 License Intro music Daydreams by BatchBug No.6 In My Dreams - Esther Abrami YouTube Audio Library
