Explosion cripples Iran oil refinery hours after fire sinks its largest warship

A MASSIVE blaze broke out at an oil refinery in Iran just hours after the country’s largest warship caught fire and sank in the Gulf of Oman. Officials said the fire at the Tondgooyan Petrochemical Co. to the south of Tehran was an accident, blaming a leak in a liquefied gas line which led to a huge explosion. The blaze broke out at the state-owned facility on Wednesday night, the Oil Ministry’s SHANA news agency said, sending plumes of black smoke into the sky over the capital.
