Rise of Tāne is an atmospheric and driving track from the new EP WAIRUA. Within Maori mythology, Tāne created the world by forcibly separating his parents Rangi (Father Sky) and Papa (Mother Earth) with all his strength. Thereby he freed his siblings and himself from the eternal darkness and brought the light into the world. In some legends of Māori mythology, Tāne created the first human being.
