Our House Flooded in an INSANE Flash Flood!!

This is not click bait. Our house flooded within minutes of the rain waters rising during a flash flood. It was the most insane storm I have ever seen with lightning, thunder and torrential rains. We had been watching the heavy rains on the way home from the store, and even stopped by the beach to check out the weather, all while completely not realizing a flash flood was about to overtake our house and yard. Being that we have never been in a flash flood before, we didn’t really know what to do, so we grabbed what we could to stop the water (it was useless as the water was moving too fast), and we picked up our stuff off the floors. Talk about a crazy day! Flash flood warnings are no joke! Luckily the rain slowed down a bit or we would have had it much worse than we did. ()
