The Darts-Take What I Need

Bio by She Rox All Female Bands: Garage rockers, the Darts began in 2016 by lead vocalist and keyboardist Nicole Laurenne and guitarist Michelle Balderrama who became fans of each other’s current bands. Nicole was currently playing in The Love Me Nots, and Michelle was in Brainspoon, the two befriended and the idea of forming an all female super group took shape soon after. Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, as well as Los Angeles, California the Darts soon brought in hard rocking drummer Rikki Styxx of The Dollyrots, and bassist Christina Nunez also from the Love Me Nots, and other bands respectfully. The line up quickly begin writing original material and found themselves at the forefront of their local music scene with a strong buzz growing about their fuzzed out garage rock full of farfisa organs. The band released two Ep’s on vinyl in 2016 and several tracks received radio and satellite radio air play that led the band to tour though out the States, by 2017 the band would embark on a tour of Europe which onl
