Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: Punkake began in 2005 in their hometown of Curitiba,Brazil, and quickly became one of the countries front runners in popular music. They have release one Ep and one full length album to date and have won numerous contest and awards for their innovated brand of pop music that has also crossed over to English song tracks as well. praised by their huge fan base for mixing well pop with dance and indie style punk music, the band has toured extensively which is opening the doors for a U.S fan base as well, the band has seen several line up changes with the departure of original drummer Lucy Perth, but this hasn’t slowed the band down, and opening for several major bands, one of which, the Donnas is surely good company and should prove to be a promising road ahead for these talented women.
