Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: England based garage rockers, the She Creatures may have gotten some initial attention at the beginning of the band’s run in the mid 2000’s for their on stage gimmick that included blue beehive wigs and a constant ode to all things sci-fi, but it was the band’s sheer talent and guitar driven 60’s influenced rock that won fans over eventually. Originally led by guitarist and vocalist Katy Tucker who left the band after their debut ep “Sexy Robot” in 2007 , who was replaced by “Nancy Raygun” (stage name), along with bassist Haley Comet who also plays the Theremin, Elektra Statik on drums and Princess Slayer on Keyboards. The band would win fans over in their native U.K and played festivals as far out as the States as well, and released a single in 2009 along with an Ep “She Creatures Invade”, which gained the band numerous positives reviews, mainly from those who were able to look passed the band’s shtick and actually heard them play, all of which led to nothing but accolades for the band. Their run however would prove to be short and the band disbanded soon after the last release in 2010, which left many wondering what happened to this amazing band that didn’t take themselves too seriously other than when it was time to rock.
