Watercolor Tutorial - How to Paint Watercolor Dragonfly in a Loose Painting Style

Loose painting is my favorite way of painting in watercolor! Although it does require a bit of planning, painting loose in the watercolor medium keeps you from overthinking each step. I hope you will follow along this tutorial and learn to loosen up and have fun! I chose dragonflies as my subject because they’re light in stature, are not complicated anatomically to sketch, and their wings provide the perfect foundation for painting fast and loose!
