In this recording from July 1951, thirty-one year old Isaac Stern (1920-2001) and forty-seven year old William Primrose (1904-1982) perform Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante in E flat major, L. 364. Pablo Casals (1876-1973) leads the Perpignan Festival orchestra. From the LP that is shown above, issued on the Columbia label, serial number ML 4564. This performance took place at the Palace of the Kings of Majorca in Perpignan (continental capital of the Kingdom of Majorca during the 13th and 14th centuries
