How do I say “goodbye” to something I love with all my soul? To something that gives meaning to every day of a life? Some decisions may break the heart, but a conscious choice – that’s freedom, which I often talk about. I want to announce that I am officially ending my career as a professional athlete. Volleyball is my passion! I was ready to spike every match point, I found the strength to fight even when my body was at its limit, I rushed on the court as soon as I heard my ligaments had healed. Once, I was driven by the desire to be at the top, and for that, I gave my all to the sport. So, I’m happy to be able to end my career on my own terms. Being called a champion is a success, but feeling like a champion is a true victory. Volleyball hasn’t just given me medals and acknowledgement, it has forged my character, bestowed pride in representing my country at the highest level, opened up the whole world to me, taught me to inspire with ideas, deal with pain, and prove that nothing is impossible! I consider my friends and fans to be my greatest achievement. Thanks to sports, a part of my soul lives in every corner of the planet! Isn’t it a miracle? I’m grateful to everyone who worked with me, invested their efforts and time in me!
