In Part 21, we’re diving deep into prepping the front end of the crane. Watch as we blast away years of rust, coal dust and old paint using our Rapidblast dustless blasting system. Next, we’ll use a carbon arc gouger to remove unnecessary parts like the stauff clamp mounts and hose brackets that we’ll no longer be needing. But that’s not all! We’ll be giving the front end a complete fabrication makeover so we also need to gouge off the toolbox doors, top plate, and guards. To protect the bare metal, we also apply a coat of etch primer to prevent any rust. Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we continue to transform this crane!
