This man left Switzerland and moved to the Russian countryside instead. Since 2010, Benjamin Foster has lived in the Pereslavskt District,where he has a beekeeping business. ‘When I first came here, I worked from 5am to 11 pm or 12 am,’ said Forster, describing how hard it was in the beginning. In Russia, Forster had an opportunity to connect with the Cossack culture, which he has been fascinated with since reading a book about them as a child. His childhood dreams became a reality when he learned to wield the Cossack sabre,which is called a shashka. Does Forster want to return to Swirzerland?
