Eric Lilliebridge- Meet prep bench training 475lbs x 5 & 585lbs x 2 Slingshot

This was my 2nd heavy training session on Bench for this meet prep cycle. On my light weeks in between the heavy weeks, I’m basically just practicing light paused reps and working on speed. I’m trying out new in this meet prep cycle, overloading with the Slingshot after my main bench work instead of the boards like I used to. Then after that, doing a couple drop sets close grip to failure or close to it. So far it seems to be working good for me. Felt a lot better on this heavy Bench day than I did 2 weeks
